The staff in general is amiable. The ambiance is family. Make sure to get family room with bathroom, a beautiful view, as for instance. It has a quiet and beautiful location to the next restaurant. This is a hotel go-to for Copacabana!

The breakfast here is awesome – they offer coffee, tea, fresh bread, fruit, and eggs! 🍳 Plus, the staff is incredibly nice and super friendly. They know the place inside out, so you're in good hands.

my second stay in copacabana was even better than before! this time i found a cozy dome with alpacas in the garden, breathtaking lake views, and a delicious breakfast. the staff was incredibly friendly and the dome was warm and comfortable. couldn't ask for more!

I had an incredible stay at a lovely property near the main strip. The family-run Hostal Sol Y Lago felt like a home away from home. My clay house was cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The garden area, complete with llamas and games, was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. The owner even helped arrange ferry tickets for me. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique charm and homely atmosphere.

We loved the hobbit-style cabina at Hostal Sol Y Lago and how peaceful it was. The receptionist, a helpful young boy, went out of his way to assist us. The bed was nice and cozy, ensuring a warm and comfortable sleep.
